Heritage School

Some of the staff look for potential students to recruit for counseling to make it look like they are doing their jobs. In my opinion they label students based on their personal opinions and views. My child was labeled a threat to the school and was recommended for alternative school all because he was playing like he had a weapon. He was 5 at the time with a speech delay. So when asked about the incident, the teacher traumatized him to the point he could not answer the questions that were being forced on him all at once. He did not understand why he was treated that way and came home the next day begging to stay home because he did not want to go back to school.This could have been a teaching moment. However, the administration wanted to scold him and label him. After that day, things went south and fast. He is currently thriving in school and is loved by all of his teachers. We are blessed to have teachers that actually care and are patient.

I cannot say enough good things about St. Andrew's. I have two children who attend currently. It is a great school - rigorous academics, but also so many other options for student activities exist here, whether its through athletics, clubs, the arts, or service. St. Andrew's provides a well-rounded education that serves the whole child and is a wonderful and supportive community for its families.

Academically, this school is not superior to public school. If you are seeking smaller class sizes, a school uniform policy, mandatory religion classes & the least expensive tuition in the area, this is your pick. Don’t expect a superior education here! Seeking superior academics? Hands down, enroll your kiddo at Saint Andrews or Jackson Prep.
