Read what parents are saying about Crossroads College Preparatory SchoolAmazing school. Small- focus on individual student needs and success. Wonderful college prep classes and skills taught. Teaches embracing others regardless of where we agree or disagree.
Posted by a parent on 5/5/2023Crossroads College Prep is the school experience you want for your child. From highly engaging and challenging academics to the warm and nurturing environment in and out of the classroom, Crossroads is a gem! You should check it out for yourself, you and your children won't be sorry. Five stars!
Posted by a parent on 3/1/2023I want to encourage those who get sucked into the negative reviews to do your research! Don't let the voice of 2 (some who wrote more than one review) parents make a decision for you! Every story has two sides and you owe it to yourself to hear both! I have been a long time supporter of Crossroads and jumped at the opportunity to rejoin the school during the leadership transition in 2021. I will attest firsthand to the heart of the leaders and know that for the first time in a long time, decisions are being made with careful thought and consideration to how it impacts families and students. True, the administrators are not perfect, but neither are parents and students... none of us are, but we are in a community where communication, care, and concern for students is a priority. Students are challenged academically, supported to learn, grow, be themselves, and respect others. It is a kind, caring, community of adults and students who bring out the best in each other. If you want a diverse, close-knit community of people who care and challenge students academically, this is it. If you want a bells and whistles, sprawling, suburban PWI, it won't fit the bill.
Posted by a community member on 3/20/2022Crossroads used to be amazing when it came to academic community, and diversity, than this year it all changed. It started with a suspension last year, that is what I would call the start of a sinking ship. This year bullying has increased, things are being stolen from people, communication between students and the administration aren't happening, and offensive language is being made towards people. Crossroads used to be a place where people can express themselves the way they want, now the environment is hostile, therefore suppressing people from being who they truly are. When I came here, I thought the school was truly amazing, but in just the short time I've been there, I've noticed that financial troubles are present, changes in administration are evident for the worse, and finally, bullying has significantly increased over any other year I've been here. I am sorry to say that if you are considering this school, for the good of your child or yourself (if you're that child), please go somewhere else.
Posted by a parent on 12/28/2021This is my child's fourth year at Crossroads, and it has exceeded my expectations. It is unique and wonderful school with smart and friendly students and highly qualified teachers. It is a place where students truly can find themselves and receive a top notch education at the same time. Moreover, the school has a renewed sense of energy and purpose with the return to the classroom. There are exciting changes afoot.

N/AGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI cannot imagine a kinder and more dedicated group of teachers and staff. Both of my children have thrived at The Wilson School because of the small school environment with two teachers per class (excellent, rigorous instruction with teachers who balance each other's strengths while supporting the students). The curriculum is accelerated, yet students do not feel anxious or pressured because the school teaches them how to manage their time and build independence. They value social and emotional learning. They teach students how to be good citizens of the school, region and world. I highly recommend this school.Parent Review1y ago - Transformation Christian School

N/AGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy daughters absolutely love their school. In addition to an enriching curriculum, the school offers a ton of extracurricular activities including drama, athletics, and art. They love learning and are in a great position to move on to middle/high school.Parent Review3mo ago - St Roch School

N/AGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageOur St. Roch experience has been fantastic. The curriculum challenges kids in a supportive environment. We have one daughter who has graduated from St. Roch and is thriving in high school very much due to the preparedness from St. Roch. Our younger daughter is still at St. Roch and loves it. She most enjoys the interactive learning, but also how she is challenged. As parents we appreciate that there isn’t just a focus on academics, but the school educates the whole child, building kindness and empathy in the students.Parent Review2mo ago
