Henry Senior High School

I have 2 of my four children going to Jenny Lind Community School & the school rating of this school is wrong. The school rating should be a 10. The teachers care about the students & work diligently with students to make sure that they are ready for the next grade level. Aside from the wonderful teachers & staff, the school has an awesome & spectacular principal & vice principal. They make it a priority to get to know their students & in creating a safe & positive learning environment. Jenny Lind Community School make learning & the love of learning a priority. I wish this school went to 8th grade, because of their positive & caring staff & the positive work environment.

Will not help or understand single mom and will mark your child unexcused tardy for leaving 45 min early when they start putting kids on the bus at 255I know because parent pick up is at 2:55 not no 3:05pm

Terrible. Thought it would improve after David Branch's dictatorial style was gone but new leadership is just the same. Very unapproachable. We changed schools and are so very happy we are gone from Lucy

I am writing to respond to the last review. What a terrible thing to say. My children attend Lakeview and are far from unfortunate. They go to school excited to learn each day and always come home with something to share. Lakeview has the most caring and hardworking teachers, and most importantly my children feel that. Lakeview is a very diverse school with a variety of needs, but we embrace that diversity and do not focus only on test scores. There is so much more that a standardized test to show what children are learning. I am sorry that your child had different experience, but please do not refer to my child as unfortunate. My children have had a wonderful experience at Lakeview!

My child was bullied mercilessly by one student and despite her own efforts and ours no one in the school believed her but one teacher. It got so bad we had to pull her out and home school her for the last portion of the school year. She wants to go to school so badly but is so scared because of this experience and is terrified it will happen again... she was only in kindergarten.

My son and neice go to this school and my nephew graduated from here. All are honor roll students. I'm not understanding the low rating. It's a great school. Academically especially!
