Literally AWFUL, could have sued this school but decided not to. Made BIG mistakes and did not take responsibility for their mistakes but instead DENIED it. Absolutely unbelievable! Do not enroll your children into this school!!!

Was a former student, teachers were nice and very good at teaching. And I liked it there, teachers were very supportive.

Children's Discovery Academy in Little Canada is horribly run and fails to provide children with emotional support and stability. The director refuses to address any issues that are brought to her attention. She often blames concerns on state regulations that do not exist. She also continually changes her mind with regard to plans, and leaves families feeling unheard and disrespected. Her lack of ability to serve as a manager is highlighted by the high staff turnover, which she refuses to take any responsibility for, or even notify families of in a timely manner. As a result, there is no consistency for students and they are left without the necessary psychology safety when at CDA. The co-director is equally ill-equipped at child care and creates an environment where children are scared of her. Exacerbating all of this is the COO's complete lack of oversight of her staff. She refuses to take charge in matters, and will not intervene, even if families raise concerns. Families are not included in their children's learning, and when ideas are raised they are outright dismissed. Our experience at this school resulted in lasting emotional and psychological damage for our child that we are continuing to address via therapy.

We have had our two kids in MN Waldorf for 5 years now. I can't stress enough how important and valuable MN Waldorf has been for their development, especially in these past two challenging years. It is an extremely nurturing environment, partly a product of the small class sizes, but also because of how Waldorf education focuses on empowering each individual child and building confidence. Instead of using and thinking about screens, they are learning to knit, craft, set the table, story tell, garden, and on an on. The result is curious, capable, confident kids.

I am forever grateful I made the decision to send my son to St. Jerome. The teachers get to know each child and their unique styles. My son struggled academically the first few yrs due to learning disabilities. The teachers and administrators helped to create a unique plan and creative adaptive techniques. Each semester his test scores and retention improved. They know him personally, which is a huge advantage a small school and low teacher student ratio can provide. The focus is progress based pin on individual level.I am thrilled with the progress I have seen in my son, academically, spiritually, and personally. The strength of character of the students and staff is unlike any I have seen at an elementary level school!

All of our children attended Faith Baptist Christian School from Kindergarten through eighth grade, and through grade twelve, when it became available. The teachers are loving and kind, the curriculum is excellent, and the Godly preparation for further academic success, and for life, is just what we had prayed and searched for, as we sought a suitable school for our oldest child, so many years ago. All of our children were well prepared for college, and most have graduated with four year degrees, or more. Faith Baptist Christian School deserves the highest praises for excellence in education!

It's been perfect! The school rating on this site is wrong. Our kids are both exceeding state standards in reading and math. The parent reviews are what pushed us to Harambee and we couldn't be happier. The year round calendar is awesome as well. Perfect for traveling.
