I think this is a great school. The teachers appear to care about their students. I have high regards for these teachers. It is tough now because of strict rules, etc. The principal is great he also seems to care about his students, teachers and school.
Posted by a parent on 10/29/2012Excellent school!! Two children have moved on from Roosevelt- one to the senior high school and now one to the middle school. Still one child left at this super elementary! I wouldn't want my children ANYWHERE else in the town!!

4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageJefferson Elementary is terrific! My 8 year old daughter transferred here this past year for second grade and has had the best year so far! She has learned and loved the PAWS pledge they say each day which encourage respect, safety, hard work and responsibility. The community of Jefferson staff and students has been terrific and we love it there. There are several opportunities before and after school and also a great curriculum during the day which includes the normal reading, writing and math, but also social studies, science, music, orchestra, phy ed, media and several educational field trips.Parent Review8y ago - Divine Mercy Catholic School

Students are safe, well cared for and are receiving a wonderful education.
