As a parent of a current 4th grade student, I cannot say enough good things about North Star Academy. My child has been attending North Star since 1st grade, and this school along with its incredible teachers and staff has truly changed our lives.When we started, my child was struggling with severe school anxiety and behavioral challenges. Today, he genuinely enjoys school and feels supported every single day. The education plan created for him is thoughtfully tailored to his individual needs, and the growth we’ve seen academically, emotionally, and socially has been remarkable.The Special Education team is absolutely top notch. They truly listen to parents, collaborate openly, and consistently act in what is genuinely best for each child not just what’s easiest or most convenient. That level of care and follow-through makes all the difference.On top of that, North Star offers two specialists every day, including outdoor education, art, Spanish, and more. These opportunities enrich the students’ learning experience and keep them engaged in ways that go far beyond the classroom.We also greatly appreciate the school hours (8:45–3:45), which are far more conducive to working families than many traditional schedules.North Star Academy has created a supportive, inclusive, and nurturing environment where my child is not only learning, but thriving. We are incredibly grateful to be part of this school community.

Our son has been going here for 1.5 years and we've been very happy with our decision to have him go here. The new director has done a great job at communicating with parents and making everyone feel welcome.

So grateful for a school where truth and faith are integrated into each and every aspect. Certainly not perfect, but focused and continually striving to be a place worthy of the trust of parents and guardians in reinforcing the character and excellence that this world is hungry for in emerging leaders. Our children's lives and trajectories were deeply impacted in a positive way by this place. All have now graduated from LCA. We have no regrets with investing for our kids in this place. Very excited for the beautiful new school building in Woodland. We love this school. Amazing community and inspiring vision. We have been so extremely happy with MRM over the past 4 years. All of our children are enrolled here (and will continue to be for years to come) and we have been so pleased with their growth. It s a joy to see them smiling before and after school every day. Their confidence (emotional, educational, physical, social) continues to grow day after day. The teachers are smart, involved, loving and truly care for every child at the school not just those in their classrooms. Another huge win is the parental involvement which is beyond remarkable. Lots of parents attend parent meetings, auctions are always exceeding goals, and parents are constantly helping the school. It is comforting to know our kids are so well taken care of, and that their futures are brighter because of the experiences they’re having at such a young and impressionable age.
