I just graduated from elementary school today. And Weiss was a great school! They had good teachers, they cared about the students, and they were very nice. This school really taught me a lot. They also held fun events for all grades. They take 4th grade to Hartley, they let 5th graders have a color
Posted by a community member on 5/29/2025Every teacher my son has had at Weiss has been absolutely amazing! Any altercation he had was handled effectively and professionally. And concerns were addressed. All questions were answered completely and promptly.

Posted by a parent on 9/7/2016Zero communication! Rude staff! BULLYING! Inexperienced and careless principal! Young clueless teacher! I wouldnt recommend this school to my worst enemy if i had one! They definitely do not treat all children equally! Waste of a building!

NAGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageWe have loved having our daughter at Sherwood soo much! The entire staff works so tirelessly to make sure each childs individual needs are met. They have a variety of programs to help the ones who need extra help like our girl Ryleigh did. I truly believe her success in coming so far is accredited to her teachers and all the professionals there. I cant thank them enough. Everyone is so kind too. We also adore Ms. Darcy for greeting the kiddos with a smile each & every day. Im so thankful that the fierst thing my daughter sees is someone waiting at the door with a warm, sincere welcome. You can meet new friends.And if you have any disabilities the teacher would come and help you. And the fun things are closer to the end of the school year. There are many fun surprises waiting for the kids who come to the school. There are never any problems at the school. There are no fights or stuff like that.There are many fun field trips to places, including some plays. NAGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageIn the beginning it wasn't bad. Over the course of the year there were some changes that we weren't exactly thrilled about. After the 2nd year there, bullying was a very big issue that was not dealt with. We opted for a private school to avoid these problems, only to deal with them more so than we had when our kids were in public school. Staff refused to handle the situation, even the teacher was disappointed in the principals lack of concern and correction. I wouldn't send my children there again, nor would I ever reccomend them to another parent.Parent Review7y ago
