As parents of two daughters at Hamlin Elementary School, we are absolutely thrilled with our experience so far. The teachers at Hamlin have truly gone above and beyond in helping our girls flourish academically and personally. Their support and dedication have been instrumental in our daughters' growth and development.Additionally, the administrators at Hamlin have been nothing short of helpful and communicative. They are always available to address any concerns or questions we may have and work tirelessly to ensure a positive and nurturing environment for all students.One aspect that truly sets Hamlin Elementary apart is the loving and caring atmosphere that permeates the entire school. It's evident that this is a community that values kindness, empathy, and support for one another. We have also appreciated the high level of parent involvement, which further strengthens the sense of community within the school.Overall, we are incredibly grateful to be a part of the Hamlin Elementary School family. We wholeheartedly recommend this school to any parent looking for a welcoming, nurturing, and supportive educational environment for their children.

As a former student I was VERY disappointed how this school treats us students as some objects. The staffs were really mean to students and they did not cared about us. I do NOT recommend this school.

Always has been a gem in downtown Rochester. Diverse population and neighborhood feel. Excellent staff in previous and present years. Huge relief at the recent principal change as the past principal lacked emotional intelligence and was prone to outburst at students and staff. He'd caused quite a shake up. Hopefully things will be smoother with change.

Great school, especially now with a new principal! He is engaged and involved.

All and all a terrible school. Do not send your kids here terrible teachers and learning supplies, it is a dirt cheap school and since it is next to cheap apartments a lot of Hispanic kids are coming in every year and there is not enough room for all these kids to get the learning they deserve since they are constantly being put aside for the new kids coming in not knowing how to speak the best English.
