Posted by a parent on 2/11/2020I cannot commend Brooklands Elementary School highly enough. Our family moved here from the UK and my daughters slipped into their school life here with seamless ease, thanks entirely to their thoughtful, caring teachers . My daughters’ class teachers have been exceptional. On every possible level. Truly exceptional. The gym teacher has ignited a previously unknown love of sport in both of my children for which I am so grateful! The music teacher is tremendously devoted and my girls love his classes enormously, every week retuning home with new songs and musical theory. The librarian is wonderfully kind and patient. The Chinese teacher is brilliantly engaging and girls are enjoying learning about Chinese culture and language very much. The PERAs are so helpful and devoted. And every teacher I pass, in the hallway or anywhere has always a friendly face and a greeting. The office runs with immaculate efficiency. And always with a smile. The head teacher is everywhere. Remarkable. I have worked in schools in Japan, France and China and I have experience of my own children attending school in England and Scotland; but I have never known a head teacher as conscientious and ubiquitous. Often, tellingly, on the worst weather days or at the most labour intensive events. I am so impressed. She helps bring in lines or load buses or whatever is required. No job is too menial for her and she truly leads by example. The teachers my children have been taught by have shown total professionalism and kindness at all times, indulging my over-anxious Mother moments and responding to emails and questions at all times of day and night. I am so grateful and recommend Brooklands on every possible level. I feel incredibly lucky that my girls are being shown such care and fabulous learning skills in these early formative years. Socially this is an inclusive school reflecting the diverse nature of its surroundings economically and culturally. Children dip into learning of all different cultures and faiths and my girls relish embracing whatever celebration or calendar event is being discussed. Mutual respect is paramount. Parents, teachers and students have been so welcoming to us since our arrival last year. We are very grateful.
Posted by a parent on 11/19/2018This is one of the best schools we have seen. Teachers are highly committed and simply great. Parents are also deeply involved.
Posted by a parent on 9/18/2014This is the third year my daughter has attended Brooklands Elementry. I have volunteered often. The PTA is dynamite. They work very hard to bring a lot of fun events for the students.

N/AGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy daughter at rented PRE K3 and K4 then did kinder in public school with her brother. Then we made the decision to bring her back to RHCS as well as brother. Best decision we ever made! We are not part of their church but my kids don't feel like like there is preferencial treatment, like some of the other comments. From day one, they have felt included, cared for, and have excelled in academics, growing in their faith, and overall their personalities are blossoming. All the teachers are engaged and care so much for the kids. Academically, this school does not compare to the public school my kids came from and I love that they're are learning everything from a Christian point of view.Parent Review2mo ago - Noor Academy
