Marquette Senior High School

The teacher are amazing, but the school is set up like a jail. No one is allowed inside. There are camera and locked door everywhere. You have to pick up your child from the backdoor of their classroom. No one is allowed inside the building. In a great city like Marquette, it unfortunate to have such a paranoid group running the school. The other three elementary school in town are run a lot better. Let parents be present in the school. Stop making children feel paranoid and unsafe when the opposite is true. Superior Hills is located way outside downtown. Zero chance of any people coming in there off the "street". Police response time is super-fast from multiple agencies. Let teacher teach and stop worrying about acting like a police officer or security guard when that is not your job or your background.

This school is amazing. One of the last neighborhood schools in town. The staff is family and treat parents and children like family too. So many great things happening in this school every day. My son loves it there!

This is the worst experience I’ve had. If our class misbehaved we would be punished by being forced to put our arms up and move them. Kids would complain about pain, one cried at some point if I recall correctly, we were only told to put our arms back up. One time we were made to run in the rain because of bad behavior. The teaching itself was also bad, I learnt nothing from the main teacher, only learning some math from the special maths teacher. They say they work at your child’s pace but it’s completely untrue. I didn't understand most things, at all. I was given very little help. The food also was bad and the milk would occasionally be expired. The salads would sometimes taste weird and the normal lunches aswell.

We love Father Marquette Catholic Academy and couldn't be happier! My children have been enrolled for 5 years and I couldn't imagine sending them anywhere else. TOP NOTCH all around!
