This school is amazing. One of the last neighborhood schools in town. The staff is family and treat parents and children like family too. So many great things happening in this school every day. My son loves it there!

Posted by a parent on 7/30/2014My 2 grandchildren live with me and attend Sandy Knoll. They have learned a lot these past 2 years. They have excelled in math and reading and this is because of the great teachers they have. Not only in the class, but they are genuinely concerned about their everyday well being.

Not only were the teachers caring and compassionate the curriculum was challenging. My son consistently tests high even though we moved out of state to a more competitive district. 4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis is the worst experience I’ve had. If our class misbehaved we would be punished by being forced to put our arms up and move them. Kids would complain about pain, one cried at some point if I recall correctly, we were only told to put our arms back up. One time we were made to run in the rain because of bad behavior. The teaching itself was also bad, I learnt nothing from the main teacher, only learning some math from the special maths teacher. They say they work at your child’s pace but it’s completely untrue. I didn't understand most things, at all. I was given very little help. The food also was bad and the milk would occasionally be expired.
