When I went there everyone was mean and the Teachers bullyed me.

I am very disappointed with how this school is being run under Principal Mr. Lewis. There is a clear lack of fairness in how rules are enforced. Students are not being treated equally, and similar situations are handled very differently depending on the student involved.Based on documented incidents and patterns I have personally observed, there are serious concerns about biased and discriminatory treatment by the principal. These are not isolated situations, but repeated examples that raise questions about whether all students are being treated with the same level of respect and fairness.For example, in one situation, a student received a suspension for an action while another student involved in the same situation received no discipline at all. Situations like this show inconsistency and raise serious concerns about fairness and accountability.A school should be a place where rules are applied consistently and every student feels safe and supported. Unfortunately, that has not been my experience. I strongly urge the administration to review these concerns and take appropriate action to ensure fairness and accountability.

The staff at Shawnee is excellent! We have had amazing teachers that care deeply about my children. My daughter receives special education services and has made progress. My only negative is that they have large class sizes.

Communication was lacking and the children did not enjoy going to school. The teachers and staff were at times very condescending to the parents and would at times interrogate the children without consent regarding issues that had already been properly addressed and were actively being cared for.I have ptsd and have been very honest and sincere. The principle herself has gone so far as to use a trigger that is very hurtful and when addressed completely dismissed and ignored me and my children. My children's teacher who was well aware even showed up at my place of work and used it then after seeing how hurtful it is used it again at the school. People have the right to be honest and the staff at this school has about three people, including the principle, that are well aware and have chosen to continue to cause severe unnecessary harm.

Awful, awful school. They do not nurture or care for your child they way you'd assume most early childhood educators do. They isolate your child if they have special needs. They will be uninvited to school functions, you will be called from work to pick your child up mid-day multiple times, and they will send your child outside so they don't have to put the effort in to accommodating or modify plans. The primary classroom has 35+ kids and staff they are not patient, loving, kind, or caring. Communication is beyond terrible.
