I was surprised to learn the current principal of Highlander Middle School. Given the school’s poor ratings, his continued tenure feels like a direct reflection of his inadequate leadership. My experience with the current principal dates back to when he was a classroom teacher at another local school

Posted by a student on 8/10/2026Staff does not communicate or follow IEP, if you stand up for yourself or your child you are bullied and harassed and so is your kid. Teachers assume the worst out of children and talk/treat them terribly. This school has poor teaching practices and constantly make promises with no follow through. T

8/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageVoyager is an amazing school. My son was slower to learn things, but with everything they teach him he’s caught right up. He’s learned things in 3rd grade that I remember learning in 6th. All of the teachers are so willing to help and are so kind. They have a zero bullying policy. I’m so glad we live in Voyager’s district.Parent Review3mo ago - Northwest Elementary School

6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThe Fowler/Sulkowski team teaching team for kindergarten is excellent! Earlier in the year at a different school, the teacher reported that my son had a lot of trouble paying attention and focusing to learn, but he experienced none of those problems when we moved to Northwest halfway through the year. He hadn't changed - the teachers and the school did. Our experience here was top notch.Parent Review10y ago - Pathway School
