I really appreciate that its not just about test scores- that the whole child matters- including being kind to others. They also have the the Leader in Me program which I am very impressed with and Spanish is started in 3rd grade. NAGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI am a past student, went here for five years so, to the people in these reviews claiming the negative reviews are just jealousy, no. no they are not. Liggett is so overpriced for both the education and the environment it provides. Student and teachers alike at this school do not care about education or learning, classes are so easy its laughable, and yet there are students who still struggle because they don't care to put in the little effort it requires and the teachers just give them a c and move on. this school prizes athletics above all else, which is hilarious considering they have a D7 football team. this school ruined my academic chances, i transferred out a year into high school and was shocked at how behind my peers i was, i barley knew how to write about literature and history and had missed more then a year of math content-- and i was one of the more academically inclined students who went here. so glad i left and started at an ACTUAL college prep school before graduating. to any parents looking at this who want more then just the schools name and reputation for their kids, this is not the place for you, i promise.Other Review1y ago - Brown Ronald Academy

2/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis school use to be a great school i have three kids that attended this school but i gave this school so many chances and i have now removed my two younger kids the school has really just went completely down this wasn't even my kids neighborhood school but i was driving my kids here anyway because it was a great school the administration changes is what really brought the school down the great teachers have left tge classrooms are still overcrowded my neice and nephew still attend here and they have horror stories on how out of control the classrooms are now my son who is now a 7th grader wasn't learning alot last year now at his new school he is struggling to adjust in some classes where he use to be a straight A student that goes to tell you how much he learned at Ronald Brown in 6th grade my previous reviews were removed from this site i guess they don't want people to know the truth.Parent Review8y ago - Carleton Elementary School
