Posted by a parent on 11/20/2017This school would be a great one if some of the teachers and principal didn't ignore alot of the issues that they have going on there. Like the toxic water that they kept hush about until the media got a hold of the story and the lack of bottle water that they were suppose to provide to the children until this problem was solved and didnt. They inform parents of issues that's of importance to them. The principal is not aware of the teachers lesson plans therefore leaving the teachers to have total control of what's being taught to the children. This school doesn't want to be put in a negative light but they have done a fine job of that themselves.
Posted by a parent on 8/5/2016Ronald Brown is a great school. My kids have attended here since 2007. I have 3 that graduated from here and 3 still attending. The teachers here really care for the kids. They are not only here for the paycheck. My kids have really thrived here academically and continue to after graduating thanks to the dedication of the teachers. I love all the teachers here and would recommend Ronald Brown as the best school for all Pre-K thru 6th graders
Posted by a community member on 5/4/2016The school really went down after the principal Ms Ross left but I have witnessed some changes for the better but there is still a lot of work to be done to get this school back to where it used to be and the principal that they have now is okay but she needs to work on being more professional I'm going to give ronald brown one last chance if i don't see enough improvement this may be my kids last year
Posted by a parent on 9/1/2015The teachers are better equipped to run this school rather than the principal. No leadership. Decisions are made because he feels that most parents won't stand up and say anything and those that do, get the run around.

N/AGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy son went here for his first year in the toddler class. I loved his teacher. They stick with the Montessori curriculum. Helped me potty train. Helped get him used to being around other children and the schools staff are like friends and family. That's the vibe and feel this school has. Ms. Carol the schools administrator is so involved and I can tell has a true passion for her work. This school is not stuck up judgemental or snobby. I felt very comfortable trusting them with my son. I will have him enrolled next year for primary as well. Very pleased.Parent Review8y ago - St Clare Of Montefalco School

N/AGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy son is a first grader at St. Clare and my daughter attends the preschool. They are both thriving and enjoying school. The class sizes are small which allows for one on one instruction and enables them to easily meet their grade level goals and go beyond. St. Clare not only focuses on academics but it also nurtures each student's God given talents. Each teacher and staff member truly cares for each student and it is an environment that produces well educated, integrity driven, leaders for the future.Parent Review9y ago - Bethany Lutheran School

N/AGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThe building itself is clean. The hallways are colorful, inviting, and student friendly. The office staff was welcoming. The principal is working hard to continue to make effective changes at the school that truly have the students in mind!Teacher Review6y ago - Clark J.E. Preparatory Academy

1/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageUniform policies are not enforced. There is no consequence for tardies or skipping class. There is no consequence for sexual harassment. Threats of violence are a daily occurrence. Fights are normal and expected at least a few times a week. There is no consequence for having your phone out in the hallway, the classroom, or anywhere really.Special education services are very limited. There are only a handful of IEPs in the entire school. The library is a tragically under supported. The books are thrown everywhere and students often use the area to skip class and socialize. Laptops are provided on a 1-to-1 basis in most classes. Smartboards are in most classes. The lunchroom and gym areas are small. There are sinks and bathrooms in every classroom. There are classes for dance, band, drama, and art.Teacher Review1y ago - Wayne Elementary School
