10/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy oldest child attented Ada for all 5 years, and my younger two are still there. When teacher assignment letters come out at the end of summer, parents and students are worried at all about what teacher it will say because they're all so amazing. My 3 kids have 3 very different personalities and learning styles, and I am amazed at how the teachers adjust each child's learning experience to be just right for that student. 9/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy kids have been educated in 2 different states and 6 different schools (3 Forest Hills Northern schools), and I have been most pleased with Collins. The teachers are outstanding; they are truly engaged with the students' needs and make learning fun. The school is proactive in providing social-emotional support. They communicate well with parents. The principal LOVES the kids, is super engaged and attentive to parent concerns and feedback. The student body is quite diverse for (suburban) West Michigan. 10/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThe Principal is amazing and very dedicated. Every teacher my son has had has been amazing. The staff in general is also excellent. My son has ADHD and the school has been so accommodating even though he doesnt have an IDP or a 504. He gets lots of 1:1. While most districts in the US are cutting on extracurricular, this school provides 2 sessions of Spanish a week, art, music, PE and workshops on how to be a kind person and a nice friend.
