Freeport Middle School

We had nothing but issues at Morse street. From the moment we visited as we were moving our child from a non-traditional school, where we stayed he needed to repeat kindergarten where they stated they would not allow it. To after he was punched in the stomach the 2nd week of school and continually taunted by the child afterward. Our child tried to report feeling unsafe to trusted adults who dismissed him to the point where the principal told him she wasn’t interested in old stories. When we brought our complaints to the school board we were dismissed as well. Also they actively told us he was not in need of an iep. It caused us to relocate to a better district. Avoid at all costs if you can!

We love everything about this school and feel so grateful to have our daughter enrolled. The staff and teachers are amazing and the consistent newsletter communication and invitations to have parents observe the classroom and current project work is truly fantastic. Our daughter LOVES being at school and is absolutely thriving in the EFDM environment! Our only regret is not enrolling her a year earlier!

MCWS was a wonderful educational experience. I attended from pre-K through 12th grade and am incredibly grateful for the opportunity I had to attend.

Freeport school system happens to be the worst school system and thy struggle to keep my child safe and refuse my child the right schooling.

Pine Tree Academy is a great school. I went there as a child and now both my children go there as well. The teachers and other staff members are so caring and encouraging. I love the individual attention my kids get at a small school. The students that go to Pine Tree really reflect a Christian attitude. Yes it costs money as most Private schools do, but the sacrifice is well worth the reward.
