Read what parents are saying about Morse Street SchoolWe had nothing but issues at Morse street. From the moment we visited as we were moving our child from a non-traditional school, where we stayed he needed to repeat kindergarten where they stated they would not allow it. To after he was punched in the stomach the 2nd week of school and continually taunted by the child afterward. Our child tried to report feeling unsafe to trusted adults who dismissed him to the point where the principal told him she wasn’t interested in old stories. When we brought our complaints to the school board we were dismissed as well. Also they actively told us he was not in need of an iep. It caused us to relocate to a better district. Avoid at all costs if you can!
Posted by a parent on 11/17/2023Morse street school is one of the best schools in Maine it has great teachers they teach great discipline the teachers at the school have a close relationship with every student the only thing that I'm concerned about is the principal She doesn't have s good handle on the kids she never says hi when she walks past you she takes stuff a little to far

Connection in community is now more important than ever, and our choice several years ago to enroll at MCWS was validated again and again this spring. The teachers and staff went above and beyond during this first foray into distance learning, quickly and nimbly providing engaging and meaningful curriculum. When my son nor I thought we could get through another day of quarantine, we felt connected. N/AGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AveragePine Tree Academy is a great school. I went there as a child and now both my children go there as well. The teachers and other staff members are so caring and encouraging. I love the individual attention my kids get at a small school. The students that go to Pine Tree really reflect a Christian attitude. Yes it costs money as most Private schools do, but the sacrifice is well worth the reward.Other Review7y ago
