Unfortunately, her attitude and lack of respect towards parents—particularly those who don't share her background—were disappointing. While I will refrain from making any assumptions, I do feel it's important for her to remember that as a principal of an elementary school, she is in a customer service role and should treat all parents with respect. My daughter dislike Burnt Mills ES. There are data where the bus forgets to pick up the students and the school dont even warn the parents. Busses are extra packed. NAGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI am very happy that my 2nd grader is pleased with this school and has made many great friendships, since we enrolled in Pre K. I feel like the social connections and atmosphere is safe for children and I don't have to worry about my child getting exposed to concerning things at this young age. The academics are challenging which is a good thing. There are many opportunities for parental involvement and it's encouraged which I appreciate! I recommend this school, you won't be disappointed.
