3/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI love Glen Ave. My son had Mrs. Seabrease and Murphy, both which were wonderful, beautiful ppl on the inside and out. I love the principal and the office staff. None have been rude or inconsiderate of me our my child. This yr, he was switched from two teachers classrooms and sent off to two others, and thank God, they did him a big favor. I love his teachers this year and feel grateful for the change. One of his teachers goes to church with us too and actually helped keep him focused in sunday school classes and helped with a major event in his life in the church. That was beyond her call of duty. I didn't realize she went to our church til she told me she sat in with him to keep him focused through that class that prepared him for that major event. She's just amazing. There's nothing I can buy for the end of the year to show my appreciation. I wish I could do something more or come up with some great idea to show them how much they mean to me and my family.Parent Review8y ago

5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis schools administration preaches about anti bullying, claims they don't tolerate it. My 9 year old is in therapy because she is constantly picked on and harassed by fellow students. Yesterday she was physically assaulted three times and the boys punishment was to stand against the wall! The administration does NOTHING to put a stop to these actions. These kids NEED to be held accountable.Other Review4y ago

4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThe leadership is lacking. The teachers are motivated, and I believe that my children have had great learning experiences there, but how the student body is managed for the demographic involved can use some work.Parent Review6y ago

- Prince Street School
4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AveragePrince St Elementary My grand daughter is new to Maryland, her first year is in the third grade. The teacher is great!!!! She has made many friends and enjoys her new school. IGNORE the bad reviews, don't know why people seem to have problems. This school offers many more programs that our previous state did not. I am impressed. The kids are nice, seems the bullies have been asked to leave. They do wear uniforms if you don't like that, it may be a problem for you, not for us. They offer a fine afterschool program with buses if you need that. (We never had so much at our school in AZ) We are happy with Prince, and with Bennett High and Jr. Look forward to the new building for Jr High.Other Review7y ago

N/AGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageWestside Primary is AWESOME! The school is very family oriented. Everyone makes you feel wanted from the janitors to the Principal. The staff welcomes you with friendly smiles & encouraging words. They speak to the children in a positive tone. From observation children seem to enjoy the teaching staff. Negative behaviors are few.Other Review8y ago

- Fruitland Primary School
N/AGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis is my son's second year in this school. Kintergarden worked out great because every class has a teacher's assistant. We had a great K year. First grade is not so good. The classes are 26+ students with one teacher. The teachers are overwhelmed and the kids are suffering because of it. People in this area say this is one of the best schools but I second guess this. The teachers don't have the opportunity to be great. This whole area Salisbury/Fruitland suffers from over population and run down schools. The principal is really good but something needs to be done about the school problems in this area. Go private school if you can.Parent Review6y ago
