Posted by a parent on 4/8/2013Mr. Christopher P. Nunzio, Principal of Prince Street Elementary school was arrested for a DUI on March 22, 2013. In my inion as a parent, this is reprehensible behavior for someone with this very public position. The children of Prince Street Elementary school deserve far better than this. Parents

My 9 year old is in therapy because she is constantly picked on and harassed by fellow students. Yesterday she was physically assaulted three times and the boys punishment was to stand against the wall! The administration does NOTHING to put a stop to these actions. 4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageIt's been a rough road with my son because he is autistic and it was kind of a rocky start with getting him an IEP but I think that mostly had to do with his doctor not documenting his disability properly. My son's special education teacher Kelsey Johnson is amazing and they have done their best to work with us when we had trouble between him transitioning into going to school for his first year and transportation issues. They went above and providing what my son needs to feel comfortable while he is there and now if I go to move plan to stay in this school district because of how well he is doing just from a few hours a week, next year hopefully he'll transition to full time with little to no obstacles.Parent Review10mo ago - Charles H. NAGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageHATE HATE HATE HATE!!!! I used to go here as a student, and there were absolutely NO POSITIVES!!! School does nothing about bullying, and finds some sort of way to completely humiliate you! This school gave me trauma, not only from the students but from the teachers too! I 100% do not recommend this school. I've been to four schools now, and none of them are nearly as bad. And I'm not a bad kid, considering I am now the leader of my school as a student council President, and a proud member of NJHS. This school 'learns a few grades ahead', and will NOT help your child if they are struggling because it's a sudden jump in learning, but instead shame you and your child for it!!
