Read what parents are saying about Baltimore Polytechnic InstituteMy daughter and I love this school. It challenges her mind and engages her interest. All of the students here are friendly there’s no bullying and that’s a plus for us. I highly recommend this school.
Posted by a parent on 12/6/2022It is a very nice school. I have experienced the right challenges here and the school is so diverse and welcoming.
Posted by a student on 3/7/2022Poly is a great school and my child has been quite happy. The staff is strong, the kids nice, and college prep good. It is not a school for lightweights, and why so many kids wash out. The home work load is substantial after the freshman year where it's too light. My kid has a 4.0 average and struggles with how heavy the homework load is and is often working till 12:30/1:00 to finish it, including working all weekend. The majority of teachers assign work on holidays and over breaks, so the poor kids never get a chance regroup. The teaching staff is quite good, particularly the English and Math departments. Science has been somewhat disappointing, due to them not finding qualified subs when people have retired or moved on.

Posted by a student on 3/29/2019Overall, Baltimore Polytechnic Institute has a great academic program, but lacks organization within Administration, cleanliness, and communication with parents and students. Classes are challenging in order to get a student prepared for college. The college preparatory counselors work hard which I appreciate and I am sure to appreciate more during my senior year and application process. I just finished my junior year here in the Ingenuity Program and I absolutely believe that as an alumnus of this school, because of its reputation, you are open to many opportunities that others don’t get to have.

N/AGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageOur son is in his second year at A Child's Place and loves it here! He barely stops to say goodbye when we drop him off in the morning, and he comes home full of stories of all the things they’ve learned all day. The teachers are great and the space itself is wonderful, both the indoor classrooms and the campus itself where the kids take walks and explore. Such a lovely place for littles to learn and grow.Parent Review7mo ago - St Davids Day School

N/AGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageWe are a minority family who attends St. David's. My son is in the 3s. Prior to coming to this school my son was in daycare and very shy. Now he is a social little boy who runs into school everyday. He wants to play pretend school at home and tells me that we eat our healthy foods first!!! I'm so impressed with his vocabulary, reading and spelling. He even can do basic math. He has been there for about two months and his growth is amazing. I'm already dreading the idea of 1st grade bc he will not be at St. David's. Communication, drop off, learning, and playtime is wonderful. It's literally perfection and my not so shy boy is thriving.Parent Review6mo ago - Grace United Methodist Preschool
