Read what parents are saying about Noble & Greenough SchoolThe school gets millions of donations every year but can’t afford functional wifi for students. There aren’t enough seats in the dining hall and kids have to sit outside in freezing temperatures to eat lunch when the weather gets cold.
Posted by a parent on 12/5/2022High standards, dedicated teachers, outstanding opportunities for student growth, committed parents, polite students, beautiful campus, great reputation.
Posted by a parent on 11/19/2015Nobles is everything a parent could ask for in a school. If there were a new Forbes listing, the school would be in the top 5 in the country. Highly recommend . The school academically. Molds your child's mind to prep them well for the future
Posted by a community member on 5/20/2015Nobles is very challenging academically, but teachers are really supportive and will happily meet with you to help you. There is a lot of homework but it is very manageable. The campus is stunning, especially the historic castle where we eat lunch, which was renovated to be completely eco-friendly. Morning assembly is a great way to start the day in a non-academic way and see kids from all different grades performing and making announcements about clubs, activities, community service, and trips. The arts center and dance studio are gorgeous and the newest part of campus, and there is a professional art gallery that brings in different artists. Athletics are very strong across the board, but perhaps a bit overhyped. However, there are some incredible athletes that get recruited to top colleges, and all the varsity teams will win or be ranked in some New England or national championship and in the ISL. The school does have a lot of privileged kids, but it works hard to create awareness for different backgrounds and bring in minority or lower class students. There is not really one "typical Nobles kid" because everyone's interests vary so much, from arts to music to theater to sports.
Posted by a community member on 12/3/2014This school is extremely overrated and overhyped. From day one in the interview, group interviews show the school's lack of interest in individuals. Students are really rich and arrogant. Every student has the top-notch materials from home, and as time progresses, having the best things becomes a competition. Girls really succeed in this environment but the boys are left going to the second hand schools. All the athletic awards are won by the girls, and al the classes are girl-led. The only good things about Noble and Greenough are the food and the campus.

N/AGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis is a great school to send your children. The teachers are very nice but at the same time challenge kids to learn more. This increases the overall confidence of the children going here and their performance. The student population is also very good, diverse and well behaved, I suppose because the school imparts good characteristics in them.Other Review2y ago - Kilmer K-8 School

N/AGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis is my daughters first year in the Nursery program at Holy Name and I couldn't be more pleased. The staff overall is very helpful and the administration well organized. I love my daughters teacher and I am amazed at how much she has learned in one year. I would absolutely recommend this school to anyone interested in affordable private education.Parent Review1y ago - St Theresa School

N/AGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageWe couldn't be more pleased with the experience our children are having at DCD. They are intellectually stimulated and the curriculum keeps them curious. They are learning what it means to be part of a team, whether that's through athletics or working with partners in class. They are pushed when they need to be challenged and supported when the challenge is great. They know what it means to be part of a community--and our whole family feels tied to that community. The teachers truly know the students here, and the sense of fun, energy and kindness is palpable the moment you enter campus. At DCD, the kids spend lots of time outside and doing hands-on learning; they have broad access to the arts. This school is committed to community service and public speaking; they champion kindness and curiosity, and they help students find their own way through disputes. I can't say enough good things about this school--it has truly been a gift for our family!Parent Review1y ago - Theophany School
