This school is great and some teachers are nicer then others. They are extremely friendly towards my child and I would recommend this school to anyone in the brookline area.

Posted by a parent on 5/28/2013We have been at Lincoln for almost two years (5th grade boy, 3rd grade girl) after coming from another highly rated suburban Boston school district. The leadership at Lincoln is remarkable, as are most of the faculty and students. It has been a wonderful experience.

NAGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageDate: July 2023. We absolutely love Baldwin! My 4 year old reads, and it began with Phonics at school at age 3. They use fun activities like preparing a huge birthday card to encourage writing, reading and drawing. Social emotional development, learning through play, varied fun crafts and activities, fun and informational themes for each week and so many fun events throughout the year to involve families. The principal and staff really care about the students. Safe drop off and safe pick up. My kid loves school and looks forward to it. Teachers also recognize different paces or stages of development and learning and pace the teaching as per the child's stage. 4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageSome teachers are wonderful. It is NOT a school for high needs children although it says it is. Children do not receive the correct pull-outs for therapy according to their IEP's and the school is very hard to work with. I have had children on IEP's; this school outright lies through their director of SPED. They do not follow laws or regulations and my child is caught in the middle. Racism is huge there and they won’t care about those kids !!! We are so DISGUSTED !! Our son suffered from a Severe depression while he was there for just one month and he’s only 10 years old !! They mad evil hate school !!
