In October, 2011, he transferred into Curtis. He is a special needs student with adhd and dyslexia. He was not doing well at the other school both academically and
Posted by a parent on 7/3/2013Great school!! JCC was recommended by another parent I met at a auto repair body shop in Kenner. I am grateful our paths crossed because this is my daughter's third year at JCC and she loves it. JCC's academic curriculum is well advance. The teacher's pushes the student beyond their full potential.

2/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis school has potential, I truly think the principal is trying to improve it since the performance score is low and I can see why... The things I’ve notice majority of the faculty there is quite rude…the only people who were useful and nice were the 2 front receptionists. For example, I was picking up my son from tutoring. They could not find him at first, one of the ladies told me “are you sure he didn’t take the bus? Bc he ain’t nowhere to be found” Excuse me? FIND HIM! Then you see him running out and another teacher goes “wouldn’t be surprise if he wasn’t paying attention” mind you my child has ADHD, so attention span is everywhere. No need for snarky comments. I will say they have many family activities for parents and kids, but don’t hire a DJ that plays lil boosie… this isn’t a high school prom.Parent Review2mo ago - Victory Christian Academy
