Read what parents are saying about St. Paul's Episcopal SchoolOur Little Saints experience was superb. The teachers were caring, open, and very knowledgeable of child development. They were also very positive. However our lower school experience was not so great. Although there were some bright spots during the school year, it was overshadowed by some teachers and administrators that did not seem to be aware of normal child development and had unrealistic expectations for small children. In the end, the lack of knowledge and unwillingness to make certain accommodations caused harm my child's self esteem.
Posted by a parent on 8/7/2016I have one child in second grade and one in the baby saints program. The child in second grade has test scores through the roof. He can read novels on a 6th grade level. He was also accepted to a advanced charter school program but we are thrilled with how well St Paul's has done with him. The class size is limited ( Only 11 in my sons 2nd grade class). The baby saints program is incredible but again they are overwhelmed by the amount of applications they get versus how many spots they have.
Posted by a parent on 9/9/2013St. Paul's provides the educational experience I could've only dreamt as having as a child, and I am thrilled that we are able to have our children attend St. Paul's. At St. Paul's you will find the academics are superb! The children engage in meaningful hands-on activities and projects, leadership is seen at all grade levels, and learning is exciting! My children are eager to learn and attend school daily! Teachers and administration are very receptive to the parents. Any issues that may occur, big or small, are quickly addressed and resolved. There are many opportunities for parents to be involved at this school, and parent involvement is encouraged.

It is a great learning environment where the kids enjoy a practical learning experience when reviewing core subject matter which helps with long term retention of information.

7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageWhat used to be a stellar star of a school has quickly declined since they've returned from Covid. In this school year alone my child has been assaulted by another student, bullied by several different students and I personally witnessed her teacher screaming at her. Her grades have dropped dramatically and her entire demeanor has changed since the beginning of the school year. For her first two years there I would never have dreamed of her going somewhere else but they have lost a lot of their staff and it seems like any teacher with patience is no longer there. They've have THREE different principals in this school year alone. DO NOT send you child here. It is awful, awful, AWFUL.Parent Review1y ago - Edward Hynes Charter School

N/AGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI rate Hynes at the very top of the scale. We have been so pleased with the progress just in three years (Pre-K 3 through kindergarten). Everything about Hynes has been positive, from office staff to teachers to programs to academics to principal!Parent Review6y ago - St Paul's Episcopal School

N/AGreatSchools RatingParent Rating Averageused to go here, if you are black, LGBTQIA+,etc,do not go here. you will be ridiculed and laughed at til you cant take it anymore. i came home everyday crying and spent most of my days in the counselors office. if your parents arent friends with the other parents you will suffer. dont send your kids here, if you try to get help for bullying you will be ignored (from my experience). teachers are rude and cant do their job. they promise theyre gonna do something with all the money they earn from students and raffles but they dont do anything. if youre not catholic you look crazy to them. kids are rude, and wont hesitate to say something to you. not to mention the lack of diversity. all white kids who look the same and act the same, no personality period. if i could rate 0 i would. school lunch would suck, i remember there was expired milk all the time so everyone knew to avoid it. dont go here, this place made me want to dieOther Review6mo ago - St Louis King Of France School
