Read what parents are saying about St. Pius X SchoolWhen I was a student, the teachers were approachable and I felt that they cared about your feelings and education.
Posted by a community member on 7/4/2016St. Pius is our home away from home. It's one of a kind. They offer electives (Art, Computer, P.E., & Spanish) that most kids don't get until high school. The teachers and staff care about your child and have a passion and love for teaching. We love the community of St. Pius and its our second family.
Posted by a parent on 8/2/2015St. Pius X is a little gem of a school nestled among beautiful trees and parks. Teachers stay forever and you never hears parents complain. Such a lovely atmosphere for children to be surrounded by. Super involved parents.
Posted by a parent on 2/24/2014St. Pius is the second catholic school my children have attended and we are so HAPPY with this school. After my last experience I started to wonder about all catholic schools, but now I realize it's just individual. The teachers, faculty and families care about each child as an individual. The academics are also top notch!
Posted by a parent on 5/14/2012I went St. Pius from K-8. I graduated in the late nineties, and still have many fond memories of SPX. I still have friendships with some of the girls I was friends with in middle school. It had a great community feel to it, where you don't feel like a number.

N/AGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI rate Hynes at the very top of the scale. We have been so pleased with the progress just in three years (Pre-K 3 through kindergarten). Everything about Hynes has been positive, from office staff to teachers to programs to academics to principal!Parent Review6y ago - Benjamin Franklin Elementary Math And Science

5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI was a student at Benjamin Franklin. I started at this school when I was in Pre-K, and I am now in the 9th grade at Lusher School. When I attended this school before Hurricane Katrina it was a magnet school meaning you had to take a test. After Katrina the school was obliged to allow any student in without taking a test. The teachers at Benjamin Franklin do not care about the child's education, they do not have a great disciplinary system at all and they just student do whatever they choose at this school. That is why I decided to leave for 8th grade at Lusher School. I will say that the only good thing about Benjamin Franklin is that it goes from Pre-K to 8th grade. I f you want your child to go to an extraordinary school send them to Lusher Charter School.Other Review9y ago - St. Paul's Episcopal School

N/AGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageOur Little Saints experience was superb. The teachers were caring, open, and very knowledgeable of child development. They were also very positive. However our lower school experience was not so great. Although there were some bright spots during the school year, it was overshadowed by some teachers and administrators that did not seem to be aware of normal child development and had unrealistic expectations for small children. In the end, the lack of knowledge and unwillingness to make certain accommodations caused harm my child's self esteem.Parent Review7y ago - St Paul's Episcopal School

N/AGreatSchools RatingParent Rating Averageused to go here, if you are black, LGBTQIA+,etc,do not go here. you will be ridiculed and laughed at til you cant take it anymore. i came home everyday crying and spent most of my days in the counselors office. if your parents arent friends with the other parents you will suffer. dont send your kids here, if you try to get help for bullying you will be ignored (from my experience). teachers are rude and cant do their job. they promise theyre gonna do something with all the money they earn from students and raffles but they dont do anything. if youre not catholic you look crazy to them. kids are rude, and wont hesitate to say something to you. not to mention the lack of diversity. all white kids who look the same and act the same, no personality period. if i could rate 0 i would. school lunch would suck, i remember there was expired milk all the time so everyone knew to avoid it. dont go here, this place made me want to dieOther Review6mo ago - Cathedral Montessori School
