NAGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThe school is horrible. The girls are mean and the administration does not care about the students. I was harassed by the principal, Julie Boyd, until I left. The girls do not accept new students and hate people who are different. The culture is money, the girls will only accept you if you can afford the current designer bag or dress. Parents pay to get their children out of trouble.Student Review1y ago4 Reviews - Our Lady of Lourdes School

NAGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI had both of my boys at St Stephen Catholic School. When we had to move to Texas, it was hard for us to say goodbye to the school! It is a safe and family-oriented environment. The staff was committed to my kids. The principal, Mrs. Rosie Kendrick, engages with the students; she is always willing to reach out to both parents and students. St Stephen gave a great academic foundation to my boys. The school also provides extra support to students and their families if need be. My oldest one excelled academically. I particularly love their Math and Social Studies curricula. Thank you, St Stephen!Parent Review3y ago5 Reviews - Trinity Episcopal School

NAGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI was a teacher at Trinity Episcopal School for a year. It is a women-centered organization that quite frankly, I believe needs to transition to being an all girls school. Once boys hit the 6th grade, they are often shamed and gaslit in this women-centered organization. The school has trouble support Black and Hispanic male students and does not have a restorative process in place for students of color that violate the student handbook. The culture at Trinity is incredibly siloed to the detriment of the white students and students of color alike. I have taught English for 14 years, and all of my coteachers and colleagues have been respectful and mutually supportive except at Trinity where I was shouted at by my Social Studies coteacher, who has had 7 English coteachers in the span of just 11 years. Trinity is not a supportive place for male teachers and is not a supportive place for male students of color beyond the 5th grade. The headmaster of the school is an Episcopal Priest that was brought in from the East Coast to layoff and consolidate some of the staff that were not fitting into the rigid expectations of the school’s culture about a decade ago. Additionally, I did my best to advocate for a student who possessed a vape, whose mother had worked at the school and had a similar experience where she was bullied out of the culture of the school, and the current philosophy teacher also had an issue where he was bullied out of the school by a female coteacher and had to take time off and teach college courses while his social currency reset and he was welcomed back into the institution again. Toxic work environment for male teachers and extremely toxic environment for male students of color. Avoid at all costs unless you are enrolling a female child.Teacher Review2w ago3 Reviews - The Louise S. Mcgehee School (Girls)

7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI was an employee there for a couple of months. After I resigned and returned to my classroom to get my belongings, many of them were not there. VERY DISTURBING! Either an employee/s of that school took the items they wanted, administration discarded my items, or administration allowed others in the classroom without establishing proper protocol. It's appalling that staff members would intentionally take things that don't belong to them, yet it's just as appalling that administrators do not have a code-of-conduct in place to (hopefully) prevent such mishandlings. After making this known to administration, the lackadaisical response was "No one took any of your belongings to my knowledge." Despicable and I will pursue this! It's inexcusable!Teacher Review1y ago3 Reviews
