Excellent academic, art, and athletic programs. The work is rigorous and the expectations are set high. Values, tradition and discipline are taken seriously. Girls at ASH are smart, outgoing and challenge the standards each and every day. Most all girls are active in sports and ASH prides itself on numerous state titles. Many AP classes to choose from and the STEM labs are state-of-the-art. It's a true privelege to attend Sacred Heart.

I had both of my boys at St Stephen Catholic School. When we had to move to Texas, it was hard for us to say goodbye to the school! It is a safe and family-oriented environment. The staff was committed to my kids. The principal, Mrs. Rosie Kendrick, engages with the students; she is always willing to reach out to both parents and students. St Stephen gave a great academic foundation to my boys. The school also provides extra support to students and their families if need be. My oldest one excelled academically. I particularly love their Math and Social Studies curricula. Thank you, St Stephen!

Both of my children attended Newman for grades 8-12. The school did an excellent job preparing them for college by providing them with a diverse curriculum and a high degree of emphasis on math, comprehensive reading and writing. There is a large emphasis on academic excellence at the school which is fine with me as it helped my two kids attend a very fine college in the Northeast and a very fine university in Virginia. Net-net I'm very satisfied with our Newman experience.

This school is a free charter school that is French accredited. Students (prekindergarten through twelfth) can attend from anywhere within the state of Louisiana. We love the teachers the most! They truly come from around the state and around the world. This just makes the school even more wonderful!
