Runnels School

They have targeted my child as a problem child when she’s brand new to the school and is being bullied. She sticks up for herself and others and is still singled out. She’s was in 2nd grade and finished her last 3 months there and was crying before school everyday. Her teacher was rude to her and does not handle problems well. One of the faculty members hit my vehicle multiple times because my daughter was wearing shorts a smidge too short for dress down day, i simple phone call to get new clothes would have sufficed.

Very helpful teachers, they go out of there way to help there students

Worse experience ever for my son, who is special needs and had an IEP in place, the way they treated him so completely different from my daughter who isn’t special needs. And the fact that it was so evident. And it wasn’t just my son, it was other children who were special needs, the difference in treatment was clear as day. I had to give it one star only to post this, otherwise it would’ve been 0.

2.5/5. The people who go to this school, thinks it's the best school in the state. But if you look at the ratings, it is only rated 9th. Their are 3 other school in Baton Rouge that rank better then EHS. Plus this school is limited to what it can offer other then the basic core classes. Look at Catholic, Baton Rouge High, and Lee High, and you will see there is a huge difference. Another concerns is EHS is only focused on money, they charge for everything...ie a parking pass cost $160.00. It is only $125.00 at LSU for 12 month.

I miss this school so much. I went to this school for 8 years and it was an amazing experience.
