Jefferson Elementary School

This Schools needs to be reevaluated by the department of education. I’m not sure if students feel safe.

If you have a child with special needs such as Autism expect phone calls constantly cause they can't handle your Child. You're child will be suspended due to their meltdowns. This school discriminates! Highly do not recommend.

We had to put our kids somewhere else.

The good teachers outnumber the bad ones but the bad ones make people want to leave acca. some teachers are great and actually care but others seriously need an ego check they wont EVER let you tell your side of the story and will tell you to be quiet while being screamed at. So if someone said something completely false about you, they dont care and will discipline without even asking othef people (goes for administration too) You basically cant defend yourself. the way discipline works here is not fair at all some kids get away with anything especially if their parents are on the board. You even had an incident where someone's kid *touched* someone and all they did is make them go home. Like serious? And then u had someone get suspension over doing something that the teacher literally asked him to do. And the inappropriate name calling is insane. The administration does not care if your Hispanic/African american/ any other race except white gets called ethnic slurs. Its been going on for 10+ and NOTHING has been done. (The administration has been told several times by parents and students). The school offers no special education programs so dont get lied toBasically if you offend someone on the board/ on of their kids or one of the fragile ego teachers you will be facing a harsher punishment then someone who literally SA'd someone. That tells you all you need to know about this school
