Sarah Scott Middle School

This school has gotten my overly developmentally delayed child communicating more and becoming more socially interactive. The school teaches my child sign language for her delayed speech issues, as well as enuciating the words as well as showing her a picture of that item. I love it because I'm seeing her communicate in the best way she knows how by the special attention she is given and she is able to mimic the other children who are already talking to encourage her vocal and speaking skills.

I understand the school doesn't appear well but the children in the neighborhood are typically having issues and struggling. I have no had a better principal or staff for my kids before that are patient and understanding. I feel the school does not get the recognition it deserves by far and this coming from someone who was going to leave the county and get schooling elsewhere.

Fuqua is a caring, close-knit, and safe school. I have two girls who attended Kindergarten and 3rd grade. They loved their teachers, learned a ton, and felt very secure every day.

We, as parents, absolutely love Farrington Grove. It is a great fit for our children. We love the staff. We love all of the fun activities they provide for the kids and how much they want the parents to get involved. I am a true believer in you get what you put into things. The more parents are involved and get their children to be involved, the better your experience will be

10 out of 10, my granddaughter transferred to here from Lost Creek and has not had any problems she had at Lost Creek.

The elementary school has many caring and dedicated teachers who create a positive learning environment. Unfortunately, the middle school experience has been far less encouraging. Some staff members appear underqualified for their roles, and this has had a noticeable impact on student outcomes, particularly in math. The school also struggles to retain teachers, which has led to frequent turnover and inconsistency for students. In addition, leadership at this level has not been consistent with discipline, creating frustration for both students and parents.
