Westlake Elementary School

no just no... I found a cockroach and other bugs. the teachers get mad at kids kids to the point they cuss. most teachers show racism and favoritism along with getting mad at kids because the teachers did something. the rules seem to not apply to all kids.

Teachers are all fresh out of high school it seems like.. No one communicates if your child is struggling etc .. You don’t know until you see the bad grade.. you don’t see graded papers or anything. TBH communication is not a must at this point.. then there are school bullies at such a young age. I feel that the school is not handling that properly bc itv steady happening. I used to love this school now it’s like people work just for the check only

Starting with the office staff they are very short with parents and not friendly. The teachers are suppose to use IXL in the classroom for the kids and I have it set up to receive notification when my son completes task and unless I do this at home with him, I don’t receive any notifications! But I still hear that he uses it everyday and I don’t believe it. Half way through the school year and he hasn’t learned anything new and he isn’t doing any better.
