Read what parents are saying about The Academy of Science and EntrepreneurshipThis school is now called The Academy of Science and Entrepreneurship. This is my daughter's 2nd year there. We love this school. They help individualize the child's education to put them on the right path for their future. Kid's can take college classes their 11th and 12th grade years and get college credits. It's all included in their high school education! They take bullying seriously! I know my child is safe and getting a great education!

5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis has been my daughter's second year at the school and I can say without a doubt it is one of the worst experiences I have ever had with any school in Monroe County. Many of the teachers tend to bully the students especially the special need ones. The principal and assistant principal seem to not give an ounce of care about their well-being or the parents for that matter. There is a lack of communication or any parental involvement. Since attending my daughter's grades have dropped dramatically. She is on a higher dose of anxiety medicine just to be able to function. As a parent I do not feel welcome there at all. The one positive aspect I can say is the nurse's office is amazing along with the front office staff. My daughter does have a great teacher this year finally. But it's her second week and she's already come home stressed due to the way some of the other adults behaviors...Parent Review8mo ago - Summit Elementary School

5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageHighland Park is MCCSC's best kept secret. The teachers and staff are so caring and do a lot to keep families involved. They offer a ton of extracurriculars like robotics club, drama club, gardening club, and even have a nature preserve on school grounds! My kids have had a great experience and are excited to go to school.Parent Review4mo ago - The Prep School

N/AGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI had my girl in this school for 3 months recently. I am glad that I took her out and would not recommend this place. Couple of things:The teacher/student ratio is variable on day-to-day basis. Some days I saw more students in a class. Also my girl would be with different teachers and friends on a regular basis. While this may seem a minor issue, I personally prefer having the same teachers and peers in her class and this is important for her to feel comfortable and learn from her peers. Many days I've noticed teachers on mobile phones during school hours. This is very annoying. As a parent, I'd want my kid to stay safe under an adult supervision and this was a big minus here. More specifically, in the classroom where my girl was, the teacher was juggling between the class and office, so there were times where these kids are unsupervised. This really freaked me out.Overall, I did not find my girl learning substantially in these 3 months while I saved few hundred bucks in tuition.Parent Review4y ago - Saint Charles Borromeo Catholic School

N/AGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageWould give a zero. The kindergarten teacher told me and my husband that she wouldn’t be able to teach my daughter to read and write since there were “too many children” and that we’d have to figure it out on our own. Not worth the money if they make you teach your child on your own because the teachers won’t take enough responsibility. Bullying is also out of hand here. The education and environment is absolutely horrible, please, PLEASE don’t put your child here for your own good.Parent Review3w ago
