We love Romona! Our kids are excited to go to school every day and the teachers and administration make it easy to communicate with them and know what’s happening at school. As someone who didn’t love going to school, I’m so happy to see my kids excited almost everyday to go learn.
Posted by a parent on 7/12/2024We relocated to the district last year, and our son is enjoying his time at school. The principal is exceptionally kind and caring, and the majority of the teachers are super nice.
Posted by a parent on 2/16/2024They seem really behind the times. If your kid looks and acts like the majority group, they may find their place, but even so, it doesn’t appear that kids feel free in this district to be and express themselves. I don’t believe this is a healthy environment.
Posted by a parent on 9/22/2023We have had two children make the progression through Romona. All of the faculty and parent organizations have made this a memorable, positive experience for our children. Easily the most diverse and well rounded school in Wilmette.

Our son has food allergies and the staff calls us the day before an allergic item is served at the cafeteria to let us know. There is tons of parental involvement, in a good way. They will
