There are many things about this school to love and it is a place our children have grown. You get a wonderful sense just walking through the school. Just to note for other Winnetka residents who are looking for a well-rounded education - it is definitely a highly sports-minded community. We've had four children attend and have noticed this all along. While there is a full-time staffed visual art teacher, for some reason with a school this size it only has a half-time staffed music teacher (?) who has recently become "supplemented" by individuals coming in to teach tuition-based programming. (The current staffed part-time music teacher teaches classes for tots & moms during the school day for an additional stipend yet only sees the school children only once per week.) This is quite unfortunate as students who graduate FHC and participate in performing arts at New Trier are severely behind standards in music to those who attend public school. It's just a shame that the FHC core curriculum doesn't support ALL the academic standards in the same way as the public schools do and we found this out with our oldest the hard way when she started in the music programs at NT.

This is our 6th year at the School of Saints Faith, Hope and Charity. We are extremely pleased with the high level of education in which our children receive. In addition, we love that our children attend weekly Mass, are involved in service projects and are encouraged to be kind to all those in which they encounter. We are certain that FHC is providing our children with the foundation in which they will not only be successful but will be well-rounded with their faith at their core in all that they do!

We have been at FHC for 5 years now! Every year there is something new to love about the school. My children are not just a number at FHC, they are each nurtured individually in order to advance academically. I also love the feeling of a smaller school. I am always comfortable reaching out to other parents and there is such a strong sense of community.

The School of Saints Faith, Hope and Charity is a superior school in that it not only prepares students academically but provides them with the structure in which the children can grow spiritually. Teachers are able to assess children's strengths and challenge them as well as providing support when necessary. The school is involved with several service projects and encourages children to embrace helping others. It is a nurturing environment and a wonderful community!

At Faith Hope and Charity, service minded students are developing twenty-first century skills of analytical thinking, creative problem solving, effective communication and teamwork while excelling in traditional academic subjects such as math, science and language arts. FHC is a true community of parents, students and teachers. My husband and I have met our dearest friends through this school and our children are so happy and challenged to be the best they can be. The love and respect the teachers and principal give to my children is so apparent through their relationships with each other, with those they meet through service and with adults in the community and on the fields. Come visit us and share in the wonderful traditions and opportunities for students in pre-school -8th grade!!
