All I can say is that if you have an above-average child, you will probably love this school. However, if your child is average or below average and needs extra help, you will likely face many problems and have a very difficult experience here. The principal is the worst we’ve had since my kids star

It was a small class for other children with Asperger's and his teacher Mr. Buckrod was the BEST!!!! My son came so far in his class and he had for 3 years before we had to PCS. My son and I loved his teacher and to this day

5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI appreciate the time my child has spent in this school. The teachers and staff have been wonderful and available for consultation from me as a parent. They seem to genuinely care about the kids. The principal is active and well known. I have seen him many times interacting with the teachers and children and not only back in an office. There are plenty of (pre-covid) activities that are well planned to bring the community together. I feel my family is respected and my child is getting a great education. NAGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis is our 2nd year at GFA. Our daughter went to a nature school previously and was homeschooled before that so I was nervous about her going into a traditional learning environment. She loves GFA. She loves her teacher and she gets to do STEAM class with upper school kids which she loves. She likes music class. I love the morning convocation the school does. The kids get recognized for their accomplishments and parents can join. The only negative is they are a small school so a bit limited on special education services.
