This was a great school for bullies but not so much if you were the target. So glad I made it out of this school.
Posted by a community member on 8/27/2025While I was not only bullied by the students but also the teachers I attended this school from 1st to 5th grade and I’m disgusted on how much the teachers pick favorites and bully students and it’s sad to say I was bullied by grown adults don’t you think. I do think it’s an okay learning environment

NAGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageSuch an amazing environment with staff that literally treat you like their own kids. I have never felt safer in any school than I do here at Roosevelt. Roosevelt gave me a new start when I truly felt hopeless and like a failure. The staff raises you up, and the principal (and vice principal) are two of the sweetest people in the whole world. It is truly an honor to be allowed to go to this school. I seriously recommend it as a current (2025-2026 SY) student there. Regrettably, some teachers do not prioritize this issue. Additionally, there is a concern regarding the outdated curriculum, some dating back to 2008, and each grade can be obtained for a nominal fee ($50). This issue can be overlooked if the educator is exceptional in their teaching approach. However, this is not always the case, and just as in most compulsory schools students are just another number.
