traumatized of this school never want to ever go again :(
Posted by a community member on 4/22/2024This is the worst school, from the moment you walk in the office. The receptionist gives the perception of what you get when you arrive, garbage! It’s a reform school. Know one values time & attendance. My children remind me daily how much they don’t learn because the teachers are spending more time

Posted by a parent on 8/17/2017My Wife and I sent our Daughter to this school this year from a private school. We find that they don't engage her to keep her interest in school up. Also when issues with bullying and student behavior they tend to ignore the issue. We are very dissatisfied, and she will not be going back.
Posted by a parent on 4/10/2015Welsh has been a great school to my daughter's. The teacher's are wonderful there and really do care about my children. Don't find that very often in Rockford schools. They have been attending since Pre-K and currently attending. Only thing I dislike like is that there isn't really much that they do

NAGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageSuch an amazing environment with staff that literally treat you like their own kids. I have never felt safer in any school than I do here at Roosevelt. Roosevelt gave me a new start when I truly felt hopeless and like a failure. The staff raises you up, and the principal (and vice principal) are two of the sweetest people in the whole world. It is truly an honor to be allowed to go to this school. I seriously recommend it as a current (2025-2026 SY) student there.
