Highland Middle School

I went to Butterfield it used to be a great school. Now it’s full of bad teacher. Arrogant staff. Push over administrators who don’t actually do thier jobs and just makes excuses. They breed bullying well on paper promising you the take it very serially but the don’t. They actual only saving grace of Butterfield is the music teacher and the gym teacher beside that they really don’t care about your child. They still have a teacher thier that should have been fired in 2001 when I went there for what she did to me and the kids in my class yet she is still on staff. Don’t believe the show Butterfield puts on paper. They don’t actually care about you or your child they only care about public image. That’s coming from an alumni and current parent of a student!

St. Joseph is your typical Catholic grade school. It’s difficult for them to attract and retain qualified teachers given the low pay, and the support services for children who struggle in the classroom are limited. It also isn’t particularly welcoming for families whose children didn’t start there in kindergarten. While the school promotes an environment of Christian values, the behavior of some staff — including the principal — can come across as hypocritical.

St. John's Lutheran School is an exceptional educational institution as they offer a nurturing and strong Christian based environment. St. John's emphasizes academic excellence while promoting and integrating spiritual growth in all aspects of learning while reflecting their commitment to innovative technology in education. With dedicated teachers and a focus on critical thinking, creativity, collaboration, and communication, I strongly believe each student is well-prepared for future success. St. John's is a community where families feel connected, supported, and loved while focusing on the character development of each student thru strong Christian values. I'm so grateful to have found St. John's Lutheran School for both of my daughters.

St. John is truly a COMMUNITY! As a military family living in the area for a limited time, we have been welcomed and LOVED by the staff, administration and teachers at St. John. Our children have attended programs ranging from PreK-3 up to 5th grade in the last four years. Each teacher has dedicated their days to support, love and guide students through not only their curricula but also their spiritual growth! HIGHLY recommend!
