My child was locked out. Constant bullying from his other students. Went to pick up my kick my wife forgot her id so I went in to get him and was asked if I was his grandpa im 34 years old that was rude as I worked there before and know most of the staff there has been nothing but
Posted by a parent on 4/10/2026We feel lucky to attend this school! The number of hands-on projects, field trips, and nurturing each child receives is truly exceptional. My kid loves it here, and he is amongst peers who also really want to learn. All of his teachers have been professional and team players.

Posted by a parent on 3/2/2019Honestly, our experience has been both good and bad. It very much depends on the teachers you get. I do wish the school would spend less money on things like live DJ’s at events, and maybe concentrate more on trying to make changes according to parent input.

NAGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageWe were so thankful to find this school. It was an urgent situation for us to switch our daughter here quickly and mid-year after a significant bullying incident at her prior school (St Gilbert's of Grayslake). The school's staff at St. John's has given her patience, the kids have welcomed her with open arms. The communication from the school is so much more than what we experienced before, and all without being asked. The community here is so inviting, we are just thankful to know our daughter goes to school and doesn't come home with bruises anymore. Besides all of that, the curriculum here and the way it is taught truly teaches a love of learning.
