Pleasantdale Elementary School

Willow Springs Elementary is a great school. The office staff is extremely helpful and friendly.The teachers are very willing to work with student and do a great job of making sure their students are understanding things.The school offers parents to drop off/pick up students or bus transportation.They have lots of rescources for speech, physical and occupational.Lots of fun activities during school days and outside of school days.Overall great school!

Unfortunately our kids have had issues with bullying in the grade school. We also know several families at the school who have had similar issues. the current principal doesn't deal with these issues. The school tends to favor kids who have issues over the kids who are bullied or even create unsafe conditions in the classroom. The current principal doesn't believe in removing problem students and drags their feet on issues. The general consensus among parents is to deal with some issues outside of the school channel since its not taken seriously. We have had better luck reaching out directly to the parents with our issues rather then work through the school. The upside is the community of parents seems willing to work together to solve issues.

The teachers really care about their students and their education. Small community with lots of support from parents.

Drama is a part of adolescence that children (and adults) can learn from. At Trinity, faculty members teach ownership, responsibility, and forgiveness. Every child and/or parent is encouraged to bring his/her concerns to the attention of a teacher, or the administration, for resolution. Our test scores and high school results show that our teachers are extremely effective in the classroom.
