Laurel Hill Elementary School

There is absolutely no way this school can be ranked 8/10. The staff cannot control the students. The current 6th grade class makes their teacher cry on a regular basis. The staff does not support the parents who actually stress over the fact that our kids aren't happy and their behavior shows. Communication is garbage. I heard the principal say "can I axe you a question". This is the leader of our future?! Crazy! 0 out of 10.

Had daughter having issues with bullying, principal not caring, superintendent handing off my issue to someone else. Then they sst my daughter and I to justify their actions. Poor communication at the school level, my daughter went to soccer after school to find out that the teacher handed out the permission and she was denied. She waited until I picked her up as the other kids played. How is this a good school? Do not send your kids to this school district.

As someone who’s went to this school, the favoritism and discrimination of some kids is beyond horrible. The teachers are extremely lenient with punishments and do not handle bullying issues at all. I was one of few African American students and I was told multiple times that I only get picked for sports because I was black. I was also called the n word on numerous occasions and when I went to a teacher they did nothing about it and the student kept saying things to me. This school is a catholic school, not a place where you let kids discriminate against other students.

Alhumdullah! This our fourth year with Al Huda. We are extremely grateful for the Al Huda Community. The teachers at Al Huda are extremely passionate and dedicated. Our kids have and are flourishing in the environment they are in. We are so blessed. A perfect balance of secular and religious knowledge. Looking forward to what the PTA has planned for the upcoming year. Al Huda-it's staff, teachers and administration are an extension of our family.
