Friendship Corner

My daughter has down syndrome and can sometimes be a handful, but this school is AMAZING with her. Her teacher Ms. Hensley is INCREDIBLE and makes my daughter feel welcomed, accepted and loved. She loves her teacher and even wants to go to school on weekends. The school is very clean and the classrooms are bright and full of the tools needed for a great education. I am looking forward to sending her to this Outstanding school next year.

This school has helped my two Autistic kids reach their full potential, the District provide ample resources and the teachers makes sure special needs are addressed.

There is absolutely no way this school can be ranked 8/10. The staff cannot control the students. The current 6th grade class makes their teacher cry on a regular basis. The staff does not support the parents who actually stress over the fact that our kids aren't happy and their behavior shows. Communication is garbage. I heard the principal say "can I axe you a question". This is the leader of our future?! Crazy! 0 out of 10.

Had daughter having issues with bullying, principal not caring, superintendent handing off my issue to someone else. Then they sst my daughter and I to justify their actions. Poor communication at the school level, my daughter went to soccer after school to find out that the teacher handed out the permission and she was denied. She waited until I picked her up as the other kids played. How is this a good school? Do not send your kids to this school district.

My experience at this school was terrible. They over look bullying and prefer to cover problems up . They are totally inept at helping students with disabilities and these children fall farther behind every year. They need new teachers and staff! Mop
