Posted by a parent on 9/14/2010This school was not a good fit for me and my children. There are not enough qualified teachers there. My child's teacher is very stubborn and not at all progressive. She teaches all the children as if they learn the same, and it puts them at a disadvantage. This can be said for many of the teachers

Get your kid out of this school, before it is too late. This school has lost the value of a good education. The focus is on money. If you are not in the click you won't get far in this school. It's time for a change now. New a;ll new staffing, in this school everyone is related. It's a family

They need a parent survey to see what we would like to see in our neighborhood school. If we don't do this, we are going to lose another good school and the last great teachers we have.There needs to be more student voice so we can say what we would like to see in OUR school. Who we want to see teaching our classes and what we would like to learn. Certain teachers can make a difference. We just want some things to change. NAGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageHoly Angels is a very special school. Kind of a best kept secret because I didn't even know the school was still open until my friend told me. My daughter is a transfer student from Indiana and she did not want to leave her school, but I was looking for employment and had to move. I was in luck because I moved to the Bronzeville neighborhood and Holy Angels is within walking distance. The school staff is friendly and she loves her teacher and has made some new class friends. I ask her often if she likes it at Holy Angels and she says she does, so I'm glad I made the choice to send her to this school.
