this school really bad, but thats mine opinion
Posted by a community member on 5/23/2025I used to be a student at this school. not super super long ago. i remember being bullied and when they finally “did something” all the bully said was that she didnt do it and i sat there and they said “thats that” and made us hug. problem was never solved. i also remember being yelled at for drinki
Posted by a community member on 3/29/2025This school is horrible, do not send your kid here. Bullying and physical threats are no concern, and admin would rather not deal with the paperwork. Certain families clearly are favorites with both admin and teachers, it’s very political here… more like high school cliques. Favoritism runs rampant,
Posted by a parent on 2/14/2025I see things haven’t changed. Teachers kis were bullies and PTO kids. Teacher daughter made my daughters life hell. Office staff was rude and nasty back then. Always gossiped.ironically one of the office staffs son sexually harassed girls. Nothing done. Bully always a problem. Terrible culture. Scor

If you are here and reading the reviews from parents that give this school a five-star rating, you must understand that this school has a strange and unhealthy community where the parental experience not only differs from families not part of the PTA

The small classes, wonderful teachers--particularly our outstanding principal and AP--and fantastic specials programs (you should see the artwork my kids come home with!) make us feel so good about the choice we've made for our kids. They love school (for reference, my kids are in 6th, 5th, 3rd, and preK). Being a part of SMOW means being part of a tight knit community of people who help each other out in times of need and suffering. We have a huge variety of sports teams and after-school enrichment programs. There is also aftercare daily, which is reasonably priced. Could not recommend it more.
