The students of this school are very out of control and lack respect. The older children use profane language to each other as well as the teachers. They are cruel. And it is not the teachers faults. this is just a bad area that influences the children. something needs to be done

Posted by a parent on 3/31/2013New principal and vice principal dos nuthing about behavior. The same second grade student is always running wild in the building and they have no control. In the upper grades a lot of bullying and my kids tell me the kids are still in class. No one cares.

3/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy son transferred here to Graham from southwest suburb school. My kindergartner has really blossomed since he became one of Mrs. Karnezis 's sunflowers. He loves going to school. Mrs. Karnezis fosters independence and encourages her sunflower students to engage in discussions and lessons. She is outgoing, and has a great personality that the children respond too. I was appalled at how my son's first kindergarten teacher interacted with the kiddos. My son was walking in eggshells around her. Kindergarten should be an amazing experience, and at Graham, my son has that. I went to Graham when I was in Elementary, and my family, Conners, have been in the Canaryville Neighborhood for generations. 4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThe school does not keep soap in the bathroom so the kids can wash there hands I am always telling them they need soap it's been a week since the bathroom had soap an now there are on one road of toilet tissue an have a little paper towels n the bathroom when the kids come n from playing outside there is no hand sanitizer in the lunch room for about a month it's own the second month of school an there is no soap n the bathroom so the kids have to eat there food with dirty hands they can not get no hand sanitizer from the lunch room you have kids and adults dieting from different virus they the best thing is to keep your hands wash you can not do that with no soap an sanitizerParent Review11y ago - Holmes Elementary School
