Edwards Elementary School

My personal experience has been awful; the teachers are not professional and aggressive. My child is not in preschool and he has been telling us he doesn't want to go to that school anymore. From speaking with the teachers I can see why he doesn't want to go back. It's been so hard pushing him to go everyday, I'm starting to feel as I'm causing my son harm by keeping him in this school. I hope parents who think about enrolling their child with In IEP think twice and ask as many questions as they can prior to enrollment. Just by asking questions I have seen how short tempered the teachers are, please ask questions and try to be as involved as you possibly can for the well being of your child. Good luck if you are forced to this school I hope your experience is not as bad as mine.

The staff is very rude; from experiences for school events and actually attending. Staff is quick to tel Lyon not what to do instead of greeting and finding out if someone needs assistance. This is a huge concern because if they’re talking rudely to parents, i can only imagine how they’re dealing with children.

I went to Sawyer since kindergarten of 1992 up until I graduated 8th grade in 2001.... This is one of the finest institutions in grammer school education that you can send your child to.... This school was my second home and there was always a teacher available to help out whenever I was struggling and would be there for me until I grasped the concept of the material being taught.... Sure there were problematic students (as I hung around those students as well), but every school had them and in Sawyer, we were taught to respect each other and our educators; if not, then our Principle and Vice Principle would instill the fear in us to straighten up and get our act together.... As an end result, I was an honors student and here I am having a bachelor's degree and a professional career.... Sawyer has indeed been the building blocks of my life.... I still go back to visit my teachers to pay homage and to say hi of course, but I thank them for pushing me to succeed..... Teachers like those are a handful now a days, but I am glad Sawyer still upholds its reputation for having the best staff.....Say no to CHARTER SCHOOLS!!!!!!

This is a great school i was there for 3 years and they were awesome every one of the teachers were super duper nice but sometimes they were strict but that was because they care about our grades and because they want us to be great in the future... SANDOVAL ELEMENTARY SCHOOL IS TGE BEST SCHOOL IN THE HISTORY OF SCHOOLS :)

Overall, I am completely satisfied with my choice of sending my son to this school and his academic success as well as his character validate my decision. I highly recommend it to anyone who wishes to ensure their child not only succeeds academically but attains the social skills necessary to put them into practice in life .

The uniform policy is very strict. The recess teachers always complained. The teachers are either kind or have a terrible attitude. Teh counselors don’t really care about students mental health. Also the lunch looks unedible.

As an observer and grandmother, I am disappointed in the experience my grandchildren are having. They moved into the neighborhood and went from a caring, small public school with lots of thinking and creative solutions to this small punitive, not-following-through, slap on the wrist kind of experience. They used to be happy about their classroom experiences.
