Torah Academy of Buffalo Grove

We have been in Tarkington for 4 years. The teachers and staff go out of their way to make sure each child is thriving. We have IEP’s and feel like our children’s needs are met and they are progressing with the help of dedicated staff. The school makes sure there are events that take place after school that encourage family togetherness. We really love it at Tarkington and will be sad when our time here is over.

Very good school, my daughter has enjoyed it very much. Wonderful experience.

This school is not suitable for my child. I realized after I had conversation with child. Children is not learning alphabet and numbers at early stage. They focused more on art and crafts which is good in somewhat. Kids should be focusing on alphabet especially for early beginners. It’s upto your decision if you choose to send them in this school. Additionally, they do provide free snacks for children.

We live in Long Grove and send our kids to St. Mary’s. My only complaint is that not more families realize the value that you will get by sending your child/children to this school. Academically, the school excels- even among very high quality surrounding schools. Test scores are consistently high, class sizes are small allowing for significant personal attention and the teachers and staff are there because they care. Community was very important to us when choosing a school and being at St. Mary’s and part of this community has been incredible- not only have our children made great friends in a short time, but we also have made life-long friends. The families that are part of St. Mary’s are welcoming, fun and kind. All around, this school is a special place.
