Read what parents are saying about Greenbrier Elementary SchoolI don't recommend this school. The rating is going down because good students are not challenged here.
Posted by a parent on 12/2/2018My children love Greenbrier and have received an excellent education here. The teachers and staff are amazing.
Posted by a parent on 4/15/2018Really great school with close community feeling. Teachers are outstanding and very carring. Have three kids in this school since they were 3 yrs old and I love how the teachers motivate the children and incourage them to do well. Parents very involved and welcome in school.
Posted by a parent on 4/21/2014Simply put - amazing all around. I couldn't be happier! This is our third elementary school and I was very unhappy with our first. Loved our second even though it was temporary. Greenbrier is by far the best. We truly made the right choice.

5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageWe have two kids in Jane Addams. We're incredibly happy with the multicultural school. The dual language program puts kids who speak Spanish at home in the same classroom as kids who speak English at home (or another non-Spanish language) so kids of all backgrounds learn together. The program and resulting integration are truly impressive. The teachers clearly care about the students and go above and beyond to ensure each kid gets the support they need to be successful. The parents are involved and social, and the community is warm and welcoming. A true gem of a school.Parent Review2y ago - Lake Louise Elementary School

3/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageAfter 5 years at this school we finally had enough. We decided not to even enroll our youngest child here and sold our home to get out of the district entirely. We transitioned all 3 of our children to a new school in a completely different neighborhood. Quality of communication, education and culture in this school and entire district has steadily decreased. We are so happy we were able to get out when we did.Parent Review1y ago - Virginia Lake Elementary School

5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis school makes a significant effort in appropriate and normal education for the children. There is a sense of togetherness, anti-bullying practices, and sufficient counseling outlets for the children. The lunches are normal/just fine, the fees are normal/just fine. Teachers were found to be overall very normal, helpful, and followed up well with the kids for past-due/missing homework along with assignments the kids didn't fully understand. The one issue I had with an assistant teacher behaving aggressively was resolved quick and well. My children look back on this school with fond memories saying this was one of the best schools they attended (we moved around a bit). Overall, if you are searching for a place to live and are looking for good schools, I would say this one is mighty fine and high up on my list. I tend to have my bar pretty high so that means a lot. :)Parent Review1y ago - Bright Horizons
